.A new decision was declared on August 31st. It was issued by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The decision concerns the privatization of 31 real estate parcels in tourist areas in more than five governorates, like Antalya, Mersin, and Izmir.

The official newspaper published the decision, that is related to the immovable property which includes the real estate parcels identified in the attached list. This should match the following conditions 

First, real estate property should be identified with the privatization program. 

Second, privatization should be achieved by applying one or more selling or leasing methods. Also, following the revenue partnership model, or legal savings, that fit the needs of the business.    , Moreover, non-real rights or operating rights of the property can be given.

Finally, the last date of accomplishing the procedures of privatization will be 31\12\2025

It's important to know that an area of 1,093,022 m2 in Alanya , Kestel area, is included in the decision.

What is Privatization?

Generally, privatization is the operation of converting the ownership of the public real estate property to private ownership. The benefit of this operation is mostly achieving cash flow to the Treasury.
