Agricultural Turkey forms cotton, tea, tobacco, olives, grapes, citrus fruits, vegetables, cereals and barley the most important agricultural crops in the country.

Turkey is one of the largest hazelnut producers in the world.

Turkey ranks seventh in the world and the first in Europe in terms of the abundance of hot groundwater. Exploiting this latent wealth will increase its agricultural production. The Ministry plans to deploy this modality in the states of Afyon, Eden, Dunzley, Diyarbakir, Izmir, Manisa, Cotahé, ShanLi Orfa and Yuzghat.

Turkey has been ranked seventh in its global cultivation.
