The Mediterranean islands of Turkey in the Mediterranean are charming in every sense of the word in it the tourists kiss and the refuge of the Turkish visitors abound of tranquility and beauty of the place and creativity of the creator and today we will wander on a beautiful island of Turkey it's Kekova island
Kekova Island (Kekova) is located near the town of Dumfa, which belongs to the southern Turkish province of Antalya on the Mediterranean Sea.
After the Italian occupation, the island became the subject of controversy between Turkey and Italy, but in 1932 it was agreed between Turkey and Italy to attach the island to Turkey.
In the north-western part of the island there are also ruins of a Byzantine church.
The island faces the villages of "Kuve Fortress" and "Ochagiz", the island is 4.5 square kilometres in size and is accessible via its own ships.
The northern side of the island has partially sunken ruins of the old town of Dolchiste, which was devastated by the earthquake in the second century. They were rebuilt again in the Byzantine era, but because of the Arab raids, they were left alone.
