Antalya, by turning a large number of its beaches into blue-flag beaches, has made significant strides over the past 33 years, Atasawi said. This is very positively reflected in the beach's ability to attract tourists.
In the places they want to visit, tourists prefer the existence of international standards, which provide all the conditions for the environment, infrastructure, water quality, security, services and facilities.

He pointed out that in addition to hygiene and infrastructure requirements, seawater quality is analyzed every 15 days, and the beach is cleaned periodically. It also organizes recycling, pet monitoring and rescue of beachgoers.

After raising the first blue flags at Lara Parot Beach in Antalya, there are trends by the Antalya Tourism Beach Administration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism of Turkey, to increase the number of blue-flagbeaches in the coming period. This opens the way for tourism in Antalya in particular, and turkey's beaches in general to be global.
