British tourists consider Turkey a safe travel destination
British tourists are enjoying summer holidays on Turkey's Aegean and Mediterranean coasts after the resumption of flights between the two countries, saying measures taken against the Coved19 epidemic make them feel safe.
Anna Hutchinson, a British national vacationing at the popular tourist resort of Didim in the western state of Aydin, said her family travelled to Turkey shortly after the lifting of travel restrictions.
Deedim is known locally as "Little England", where many Britons buy houses and live in the town permanently.
About half a million people visit the town every summer,
